The new Hotel is located in front of the historic residence Villa Maria, a local monument, erected towards the end of the 1700's, the start of the 'romantic' age. The Villa has accommodated illustrious guests, including Garibaldi in 1758 and Goethe in 1802, both of them having left appreciative comments that are preserved to this day in the guest-book. There are 26 hotel rooms, all furnished in a contemporary style, with a maximum of attention to elegance and refinement in all particulars and 5 additional rooms in Villa Maria.
